Coming to Cebu
Malapascua is located off the northern tip of Cebu Island in the center of the Visayas. It is easily accessable from Cebu, which has the country's second largest air hub and the biggest seaport.
A number of international airlines (Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Asian Air, Malaysian Airlines etc.) and almost all domestic airlines are serving Cebu Airport on Mactan Island, which is connected to Cebu City with a bridge. There are around 20 domestic flights from Manila to Cebu City daily and air connections from other islands, such as Bohol, Mindanao, Negros, Palawan, Camiguin and Boracay.
Cebu City can also be reached by boat from Manila with the comfortable Superferry Service. Furthermore, there are numerous shipping connections from and to almost all surrounding islands including Mindanao.
Cebu City - Maya - Malapascua
The small town of Maya on the nortwest coast of Cebu Island is the departure point for boat transfer to Logon Beach on Malapascua Island. Maya can be reached by air-con buses from the North Bus Terminal in Cebu. A taxi from Cebu Airport to the Northern Bus Terminal costs around 300 Pesos. Or you can go by Citibus to the North Bus Terminal (ca. 50 Pesos).The bus trip to Maya takes about 4 hours (about 350 Pesos).
Alternatively, a taxi from Cebu Airport to Maya costs 3.500 Pesos and takes 4 hours. We can arrange airport Service for 2 persons for 3.500 Pesos (for 4-6 persons 4.500 Pesos) from Cebu to Maya Port.
Passenger boats leave Maya hourly to Malapascua. The trip takes around 30 minutes and costs 200 Pesos. We can arrange special boat trip for 2.000 Pesos.
